Casey Family Spring Session

This was the 7th or 8th session I have done for the wonderful Casey family, and it was sadly the last before they left Europe. It was, however, an absolutely beautiful session! We shot the session in Bad Homburg during the spring. Bad Homburg is absolutely gorgeous in the spring. The Schlosspark is particularly breathtaking with its meticulously planned gardens and wild blooming tulips. It was a typically cool April day, but the sun was bright and brought a wonderful warmth to the images.

The Casey’s brought their visiting family to the session, and everyone was focused on the Casey’s new son. The boys were dressed adorably in matching bear onesies to help keep them warm. We walked around a small area in the Schlosspark capturing everyone amongst the blooming trees and flowers. Not a lot of movement is necessary at this park for wonderful variety. One thing that was requested was dancing photos, as the Caseys visiting family were dancers. I photographed them in several locations doing wonderfully talented dance moves. I also made sure to capture them together amongst the beautiful blooms.

Family shots with the newest edition were the priority. I photographed mom, dad, and sister holding baby in the tulips. To give the photos a bit more flair, I played with AI and added a Netherlands vibe with tulips fields and Dutch windmills. Spring in the Netherlands is incredible and I wanted this family session to get a bit of that feel while they were here, even if they couldn’t be there in person. Even in the early spring the Schloss at Bad Homburg hosts tables filled with potted spring flowers. They made for a sweet backdrop as we rounded out our session with photos of big brother with mom and dad.
