I love working with businesses, so I was thrilled when Tucson’s Creative Tribe contacted me to do a collaboration. Businesses, bloggers and boss babes from around Tucson filled the Creative Tribe space with friendly chatter for a fabulous afternoon. We worked in Creative Tribe’s downtown studio location. It was a photographer’s dream with endless wood floors, white walls and a cascade of natural light. The Creative Tribe team put together five different themed sets where bloggers enjoyed socializing and posing while I snapped away.
The first set was a Girl’s Night In, and featured spiritual treats and yummy eats. The Ninth House Shop brought a few spiritual products from her shop, and was there giving tarot readings. The second themed set was a Casual Breakfast, and featured delectable pastries in a divinely understated breakfast space. Bloggers Mandy and Katie broke bread, croissants actually, over coffee, conversation and books.
The third set was Magazines and Memories. Local artist, Alyssa, was joined by Katie and a feline friend for a cozy afternoon with books, magazines and capturing fun memories. Even the feline was down for photographs and struck a pose for me now and again. Our fourth set I dubbed Babes and Bubbles. It was a bit challenging, because we were working in a very tiny bathroom, but the results were sublime. Natalie, Bre and local jewelry designer Marina were the stars of this shoot that highlighted tons of amazing bath and beauty products.
Our final themed set highlighted the purpose of Creative Tribe, to celebrate community through crafting and conversation. Five amazing women enjoyed time together knitting and stitching as I captured their progress and interaction. My time at Creative Tribe was fast and furious with a lot of photos in a short amount of time, but it was ridiculously fun!
