Spring is my second most popular time of year for photos, but a lot of people don’t think about spring branding sessions. Spring photos are filled with color and vitality, something that can make branding photos stand out amongst the masses. This family chose to combine their family session and branding session during a beautiful time in downtown Wiesbaden. I will post the family session later, but wanted to share the beautiful branding shots we captured.
This client brought a couple of outfits, but also brought a hat to add a different look to one outfit. Outfit changes can be simple, but create a totally different look in your branding shots that can appeal to different clients. Things like adding a hat, changing from a suit jacket to a sweater, changing from pants to a skirt…all easy changes in the middle of shooting locations. This client chose to start with a suit jacket for a more business look, and then add a hat to a few. Later in the session she changed to dress slacks and a nice sweater. Both outfits were lovely and fit her personality.
We shot at a single park in downtown Wiesbaden. It’s one of my favorites because although it’s small, it has a huge variety of backdrops. In their family session you will capture a glimpse of the Wiesbaden home built to mimic the White House. This clients business revolves around the outdoors, so for their branding session they asked for strictly nature backgrounds.
Both husband wife were photographed for their business. I captured serious, casual, and some fun images to express their personality. Different aspects appeal to different types of clients. I always work to capture my clients in different settings, doing different things, and with both serious and fun poses.
